Susan Thorsland has a BFA in Dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Dance from Florida State University. She received her K-12 certification in Dance from UNCC and currently heads the ballet department at Northwest School of the Arts. She has performed with Second Avenue Ballet Company in NY, The Tallahassee Ballet, The Raleigh Ballet, and The Asheville Ballet. Susan received her Pilates training through Heather Obleada, Iron Butterfly Pilates™, and is delighted to be teaching pilates mat classes.
