Susan Thorsland obtained a BFA in Dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Dance from Florida State University. She received her k-12 certification from UNCC and currently teaches ballet and pointe at Jami Masters School of Dance. She has performed with Second Avenue Ballet Company in NY, The Tallahassee Ballet, The Raleigh Ballet, and The Asheville Ballet. Susan received her Pilates training through Heather Obleada, Iron Butterfly Pilates™, and is delighted to be teaching pilates mat classes.
